Day number four at Independent Venue Week is just as jam packed as the rest, with two artist takeovers and two of our members of staff headed across the country to deliver more content through Skiddle's social media.
Running an Instagram stories takeover today will be self proclaimed, and truly magnificent "60s-indebted psych-pop surf rockers" The Seagulls - who are gearing up for a huge show at Leeds' 360 club tonight. It's a hometown show for the five piece, and believe us - you'll want it to keep up with the action. (Find The Seagulls tickets)
Taking over our Snapchat stories will be one of the hottest new prospects about, Sports Team whose Winter Nets EP has been described as being made up of "Start to finish radio ready pop gems" - high praise indeed. Tonight they play The Five Bells in London as part of IVW, and if you're not lucky enough to have a ticket, then you can get some behind the scenes fun by keeping a close eye on snapchat. Skiddle staff members Vicky and Gareth will be at Salty Dog's Northwich and The Boileroom in Guildford respectively. Gareth will be witnessing the full force of LA death metal band The Faceless, while Vicky will be showing her support to Skiddle's very own Matt Murphy as he fires off some tasty riffs of his own alongside his band Building Giants.
