A month ago we wouldn't have predicted how close the Premier League title race would be. With Man City far ahead it looked like an inevitable title win. Yet they have faltered in recent weeks and that has allowed Liverpool to catch up. Their latest stumbling block was Crystal Palace where they drew 0-0 at Selhurst Park.

It was a match where you felt as though surely City were going to score but it never happened. This means that if Liverpool beat Arsenal in the week then they will be one point behind. The Reds beat Brighton fairly comfortably this weekend but have a much tougher run of games to come. It looks set to go down to the wire.

In other news, the most dramatic game of the weekend was Leeds vs Norwich as Jesse Marsch looked for his first win as Leeds boss. It was also a crucial fixture for the relegation fight as the Yorkshire side had found themselves plummeting down the table. They went ahead in the game thanks to Rodrygo.

Yet they then went on to miss countless chances and it looked as though it had cost them as Norwich equalised in the 90th minute. Yet Leeds rallied and in a sweeping counter, Raphina rounded the keeper to set up Joe Gelhardt for an easy finish. It could be a huge result for the relegation battle.

Manchester United and Tottenham also scrapped it out with Ronaldo scoring a hat-trick to sink the London side. The commentators were quick to shout with bubbling excitement with each Ronaldo goal, hailing him as the greatest player of all time, an icon and phenomenal player despite most of them including Gary Neville saying that he was the main reason for United's poor season as recently as last week. Yet that was all quickly forgotten as soon as he got a few in the net. You'd have thought he scored the winner in the Champions League final.

If you're a footy fan then these events will definitely be of interest to you...
