We already have our first sacking of the Premier League season after the latest round of fixtures and it comes after a record victory. Liverpool were looking to bounce back after their defeat to Manchester United and did so in the most emphatic way possible, beating Bournemouth 9-0.
They were 5-0 up going into half-time and with the rate at which Liverpool were scoring, more goals seemed inevitable. Roberton Firmino was the star of the show, grabbing two goals and setting up three. But Liverpool were brilliant and youngsters Elliott and Carvalho both grabbed their first goals for the club.
It has now proved to be a costly toll for Scott Parker as he has become the first manager sacked this season. It seems incredibly harsh given that in their first four games they've faced Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City where they weren't expected to win any. There are rumours floating about of an uneasy relationship between Parker and Bournemouth's chairman.
Who knows who they'll bring in but this has definitely solidified their position as relegation favourites. Elsewhere, Manchester City came from behind to beat Crystal Palace who took a 2-0 lead but a stunning display from Haaland saw him bag a hat trick. Watching a striker of his quality makes you fully believe that City have probably signed one of the deadliest strikers that the Premier League will ever see.
Chelsea managed to fend off Leicester despite having Gallagher sent off in the first half with Raheem Sterling stepping up to give them the victory. Leicester threatened to stage a late comeback with a Harvey Barnes strike but they still look miles off the pace after a shaky start and no signings.
Arsenal remain at the top of the table after beating Fulham 2-1 but it was the visitors who took a shock lead after Mitrovic robbed Gabriel to tap home. The Gunners are looking very entertaining to watch this season, they have that feeling where goals feel like an inevitability. They could be in for a very successful season.
There are midweek fixtures taking place this week, with the most tantalising being Leeds vs Everton, Liverpool vs Newcastle and Leicester City vs Manchester United. If you're in need of a football fix take a look at these events below.
