It was all a little bit quiet this weekend in the Premier League as a few games were called off due to police staffing issues around the Queen's funeral. So, it was up to the few games remaining to offer up entertainment and it was Spurs who were the main providers as they thrashed Leicester 6-2.

It included a stunning hat trick from Son, who proved his doubters wrong by coming off the bench and scoring with three delightful finishes. After not scoring so far this season, he stepped up to make sure no one had forgotten how talented he is. Leicester on the other hand showed worrying signs yet again, losing so many key players over the summer with hardly any replacements looks set to cost Rodgers his job at some point this season.

Manchester City produced another dominant performance against Wolves as that man Haaland scored yet again, as did Grealish and Foden. There's no doubt though that this was a De Bruyne masterclass, his vision is extraordinary as he picked up another two assists, with more to come this season surely.

A special mention goes out to Wolves Nathan Collins, as he got one of the stupidest red cards of all time for performing a flying kick on Grealish. Nottingham Forest and Fulham played out a thriller, with the London side coming out as 3-2 winners. Forest keep losing these key games against the teams that they need to be beating, which doesn't bode well for them this season.

Aston Villa beat Southampton 1-0 in one of the most boring games of all time with Jacob Ramsey scoring the winner. Arsenal got a comfortable victory away at Brentford that included a beauty of a goal from their new signing Viera. It was the battle of the bottom as Everton faced West Ham and the Merseyside team came out on top.

It's a worrying time to be a West Ham fan as they don't seem to be clicking at the top of the pitch at all this season. Although with the quality they've got it's far too early to call them surprise relegation candidates. If you want even more of a football fix then take a look at the events below.
