In this week's latest football news the big story was the Manchester derby as blue and red clashed once again for dominance over the city. Whilst Man City are far ahead of their rivals in the table, it would have been a huge boost to United to give their fans something to cheer about. It wasn't to be however as City cruised to a 4-1 victory in fron of their fans.
Manchester is very much blue, with the home team going ahead before Jadon Sancho scored a superb equaliser before the ever-impressive De Bruyne put City back ahead. Once the second half started, United crumbled and barely even got a kick of the ball. Manchester City wiped the floor with them, United's defence becoming a hopeless mess of flailing limbs. With only Liverpool remaining as Manchester City's single difficult fixture for the rest of the season, the title is almost in grasp.
Liverpool kept pace with a slender win over West Ham thanks to a Mane goal, meanwhile, Arsenal scored some beautiful goals as they beat Watford 3-1, strengthening their push for fourth. Newcastle are now well clear of the relegation zone after beating Brighton 2-1 and Brentford got a key victory by beating Norwich3-1 with Ivan Toney scoring a hat-trick.
The relegation battle is going to go down to the wire as the bottom five are only separated by six points. If you're a footy fan then check out these events below...
When: Friday 11th March

Whilst the title may be a bit out of reach in the Welsh Premier League with The New Saints running away with it a little, second-placed honours are there to play for. With only 5 points separating 2nd and 6th at the time of writing, Caernarfon Town are currently 6th whilst Newtown are in third, four points ahead. A win for the home side here would be a huge step.
