As the year comes to a close, many of us use this time for reflection. We’re thinking about all the raves and festivals we danced at until our legs turned to jelly, the incredible tracks that got stuck in our heads as we left live shows, and, of course, the DJs that made all of that possible.
Here, we have your 25 most-searched artists on Skiddle this year, starting at number 25 and going down to number one. Check out the artists you were obsessed with this year and click on their “find tickets” link to follow them, ensuring you’re the first to know about any new shows they announce!
Chris Stussy
Dutch house producer and DJ Chris Stussy found his unique style thanks to a love of early house, jazz, disco, and Chicago styles. Back in May, Stussy released All Night Long, one of the biggest house tracks of the year that managed to wrack up over a million streams before it had even been released.
Wilkinson
A busy man this year, Wilkinson did a massive autumn/winter tour in the UK, Europe, the US, Australia, and New Zealand. A huge name in DnB that also broke into the mainstream with tracks like Afterglow, plenty of music fans would jump at the opportunity to hear that belter live.
Fisher
A party animal with infectious energy, we all love a bit of Fisher. And with his Ibiza residency at Hi, the best club in the world, all eyes were on him. Add to that his TRIIP Fest in Malta, and the Aussie tech house legend was everywhere.
Fred again..
Following that Boiler Room set, the one at Glasto, and that Tiny Desk show, it’s no surprise Fred has been on everyone’s minds. And that’s without considering the bangers he’s dropped including Rumble, Baby again.., and adore u, which all dropped this year.
Ben Nicky
Aside from the fact Ben has a huge following thanks to his hard techno and hard trance selections and productions, we reckon you guys were on the lookout for his Misfit parties, which took over some of the best venues across the UK. And fair play, they look mega. Click the “find tickets” link below to follow him and be the first to know about his events.
Belters Only
Dropping bangers including Make Me Feel Good, currently with almost 98 million Spotify streams, and I Will Survive, Belters Only is an Irish duo that became the first dance act to sell out Dublin’s 3Arena. They also sold out Liverpool’s Blackstone Street Warehouse and had a show at The Warehouse Project’s Archive. Read our interview with Belters Only.
Bicep
If the chance to see Bicep arises, you take it. That’s basically common knowledge, which is why you lot kept searching for them. The Belfast duo don’t tour much in comparison to some other artists, but their live show setup is incredible. Camelphat
Scouse house titans, Camlephat, who you’ll know from the massive bangers Cola and Breathe, finally released their second album in September. Carefully crafting emotive tracks with depth while remaining danceable, it’s no wonder the duo is still in such high demand.
Charlie Sparks
Based in London, Sparks has been active in the techno scene since 2020. A current Teletech resident, Sparks developed a loyal fan base playing high energy techno parties in the UK and Europe and is currently on a Scottish winter tour with Nightvision that looks unreal.

Sammy Virji
Giving UKG and bassline some representation on the list, Sammy Virji dropped some bangers and went off on his Isn’t It tour this year. Now nominated for Best Producer by DJ Mag, it’s clear you guys have a great ear for cracking music.
Bou
Bou had a huge come-up this year, having not been one of your most-searched artists last year, and now landing in eleventh. The Manchester-based drum and bass producer who made Baddadan with Chase & Status has won several awards over the years including Best Producer, Best Breakthrough Producer, and Best Breakthrough DJ. But what a year he's had in 2023.
Coming from Liverpool, SOSA's had a belting year. Known for his minimalist tech tracks with hypnotic grooves SOSA gave us some lovely low-key bangers this year including Bring It Back, Weeping Willow with Cloonee, It's Time To Move, and Bugbeat. While he's had a solid year, we suspect 2024 will be even better for him.
Hybrid Minds
Liquid DnB legends, Hybrid Minds, was one of your topped-searched artists once again after coming in at 5th last year. After announcing and selling out a huge show at Alexandra Palace and releasing tracks including If Love Could Have Saved You with venbee (read our interview with her), Fingerprints with Grace Grundy, and Lights with Charlotte Plank, it makes sense. Check out our 2023 interview with Hybrid Minds.
Shy FX
With both underground and mainstream cred, DnB and jungle fans all over love a bit of Shy FX. Shy almost always has a handful of events on his page, with plenty in there right now for 2024. Whether you catch him at a festival, a small club, or a huge rave, he brings incredible selections and immaculate vibes wherever he goes.
Ewan McVicar
Having already made a huge name for himself in music with a handful of bangers, his Pavilion Festival, and plenty of sold-out tours, it’s not at all surprising McVicar landed among our most-searched artists for the second year running.
PAWSA
PAWSA sold out his headline show at The Warehouse Project’s Concourse so fast that they had to announce an extra date. And what did he do? He only went and sold out that second date, too. If you love house music but haven’t checked out a PAWSA set yet, take this as your sign.
AZYR
A remarkable success story, AZYR took off almost overnight. After playing the Boiler Room stage at Teletech Festival in August at Bowlers Exhibition Centre, AZYR then sold out BEC on his own for his biggest ever all-night-long show in March 2024. And when we say it sold out rapidly, we mean it sold out rapidly. Not only that, pretty much every single ticket for any event of his was gone in seconds. Incredible.
Hedex
A rapidly rising name in the DnB scene, you lot simply could not get enough of Hedex this year. Hedex has actually been on the scene for over a decade now, so we’re buzzing to see him get his flowers.
blk.
Moving from position 15 in 2022 up to position 3 this year, blk. is killing the hard techno scene with his relentless production style and insane energy behind the decks. The Irish techno wizard is becoming one of the biggest names in the genre. If he isn’t already…
Hannah Laing
Scottish star, Hannah Laing, has been everywhere this year: festivals, huge raves, smaller raves, and even in the charts with her tune Good Love. The former dental nurse also kicked off her Welcome To The Doof tour and put on loads of wild secret parties with tiny capacities across the country. We can’t wait to see what she does next!
Ben Hemsley
Are we surprised with your number-one searched artist on Skiddle this year? Not at all. Ben had a massive year which saw him embark on his debut Ibiza residency at Ibiza Rocks, release IBIZA, Every Little Thing, and Benirrás, and we couldn’t forget his massive UK tour that saw him play his hometown’s arena, Newcastle Utilita. Despite his wildly successful year, we get the feeling he’s only getting started… Check out our interview with Ben.
