Another weekend goes by and another Premier League manager is sacked. Nathan Jones was relieved of the hot seat at Southampton after the side embarrassingly lost 2-1 at home to Wolves despite the away side being down to 10 men since the 27th minute. Special mention goes to Bednarek for one of the most embarrassing own goals of the season.

Nathan Jones won't go down in favourable history at Southampton as he lost nine of his 14 games in charge, declared himself as one of the best managers in Europe and upset the fans after their defeat to Brentford. The Saints find themselves rooted to the bottom of the table on 15 points.

There were quite a few draws across the weekend with one of the more dramatic ones being Arsenal drawing at home to Brentford. The away side are in brilliant form under Thomas Frank and caused the league leaders all sorts of problems, the result was a fair reflection of the match.

Crystal Palace's draw with Brighton will prove controversial as the away side were wrongly ruled out a goal by VAR after the offside line was drawn from the wrong player. It stunted Brighton's momentum at the top of the table. In another part of London, Chesea's all-star multi-million 11 couldn't click to get past West Ham.

The game finished 1-1, but again we're talking about VAR as somehow a full-on goalkeeper save from Soucek wasn't penalised for handball in the dying moments. Tottenham visited Leicester and went ahead through Bentancur but the game completely flipped on its head after that.

Nampalys Mendy scored a screamer and Leicester turned on the style, Maddison and Barnes starring as the dismantled their hapless opponents 4-1. New season, same old Spursy Spurs. The Manchester sides continued their title bids successfully, with United labouring to an eventual 2-0 win away at Leeds and City making easy work of Aston Villa, winning 3-1.

It means that the gap has been closed to Arsenal and the game between Arsenal and Manchester City in the week could be a title decider. Arsenal will have the home advantage. For more footy action take a look at the events below.
