Here's our latest round-up of football news.

As we predicted, Frank Lampard was chucked out of Everton and they found a replacement in the shape of Sean Dyche, the non-nonsense former Burnley manager who relies on his teams to project maximum physicality, usually within a 4-4-2 formation. Taking over just as the side faced Arsenal, it looked like a tough first game for him.

But, Everton looked hungrier than the league leaders and Tarkowski headed in a deserved winner. It was mainly thanks to the brilliance of Onana in midfield that had the game in Everton's favour. If it weren't for Dyche's brilliant decision to double up on Saka, then poor Mykolenko would have been skinned every time and neutralising was a huge part of winning the game.

We expected Chelsea to utilise all their new signings against Fulham and most of them appeared, yet couldn't find a way through as they drew 0-0 with their London rivals. A new signing sparked Leicester into life as Tete, making his debut, scored in a brilliant performance as they beat Aston Villa 4-2.

Brentford made quick work of Southampton, who still look like they're destined for the drop this season. The appointment of Jones hasn't done much to stem the downward spiral. Brentford meanwhile are looking pretty much unbeatable at home. Mitoma kept up his good form by securing a 1-0 victory for Brighton over Bournemouth.

Casemiro decided to choke out Will Hughes in Manchester United's victory over Crystal Palace and was deservedly sent off. Marcus Rashford is the in-form player in the league at the moment and is looking pretty unstoppable under Ten Hag. Newcastle drew at home to West Ham as their momentum has slipped slightly and they don't look in contention for a shock Premier League title charge.

Liverpool were absolutely useless yet again, re-affirming their status as the worst team in the league at present with a 3-0 away loss to Wolves who are completely changed under Lopetegui. With a Merseyside derby up next against a physical Sean Dyche side, it looks as though the red side of Liverpool are set up for another defeat.

If Liverpool are embarrassed by what is supposed to be one of the worst-ever Everton teams, huge changes will need to be made immediately. In a fight at the bottom end of the table, Nottingham Forest came out on top against Leeds as Jesse Marsch's side still struggle to get going with him under a lot of pressure.

Steve Cooper however will be feeling a lot more relaxed as the results and performances have looked better recently. Tottenham didn't slip up this time against Manchester City and Harry Kane (who else?) grabbed the victory for the London team in what was a huge hit to City's bid to retain their title.

News has also appeared this morning that Manchester City have been charged with breaching financial rules, which isn't news to anyone with a bit of common sense. But, with football's regulatory bodies not even seeming to exist, there is very little hope that those who breach rules will actually be punished but maybe, just maybe we'll see a worthy punishment. For live football and screening take a look at the events below.
