Smoove and Turrell have announced their fourth record Crown Posada and subsequent tour dates - including a cracker of an album launch at Wylam Brewery in Newcastle.
The funk and soul specialists embrace their working class roots while working the ears with finger snappin' funk that could get a gang of monks on their feet. They take influence from jazz to hip hop and relay social commentary centered on the North East where they grew up.
Released Friday 14th October via Jalapeno records, the album launches on their home-patch of Newcastle at Wylam Brewery on Friday 7th October and later in London at Brixton Jamm on Thursday 13th October.
