It's only fitting that the Smoove & Turrell boys cap off a champion year in the 'Toon', having released their fourth album Crown Posada to massive acclaim.
The end of year bash will take place at Boiler Shop on Sunday 18th December, a brand new event space in the heart of Newcastle that's gasping for a blitzing of northern funk.
They invite along some of their favorite DJs, in the form of Bristolian pair The Allergies, made up of DJ Moneyshot and DJ Rackabeat, channeling vintage sounds remoulded for the modern dancefloor. North East native's Deja Brew spin a strictly vinyl blend of disco to afro-beat.
Still coming down from their sold out album launch in the city at Wylam Brewery, this one is guaranteed to be a winter stomper. Crown Posada has gathered many a superlative and guarentees a livewire performance in the flesh.
