Soca hero Machel Montano coming to London for first show in eight years

Tipsy Dreamland is coming to London’s OVO Arena Wembley on Friday 23rd August 2024 (bank holiday weekend), bringing along Machel Montano plus guests for a celebration that fuses the city's carnival spirit with Caribbean heat.

Soca superstar Machel Montano tops the bill, joined by special guests Trinidad’s Bunji Garlin, Tobago’s Fay-Ann Lyons, Queen of Soca Alison Hinds, Mical Teja, and Skinny Fabulous. This will be Machel Montano’s first London show in eight years.

The event, named Tipsy Dreamland, is brought to us by Twisted Entertainment (who you might know from Tipsy Music Festival in Barbados) and Dreamland Events, known for their J'ouvert Festival and impact on London’s carnival scene. 

With the two joining forces, punters can look forward to the OVO Arena transformed into a carnival paradise with stunning visuals, DJs, and of course that incredible lineup. 

So, if you love soca music and huge, blissful Caribbean carnival vibes, this event is basically a dream come true. Even better still, the event kicks off when the August bank holiday weekend commences and two days before Notting Hill Carnival, allowing you to properly celebrate!
