The dedicated team of volunteers behind Cumbria's award-winning music and arts festival, Solfest have recently announced the first wave of performers set to rock the crowd's at this year's much anticipated event.
Running over the late August Bank Holiday weekend - from Thursday 25th to Sunday 28th August - the 2022 edition of the always well-attended festival will see a score of diverse and highly influential names take command of the Solfest stages, amidst the stunning backdrop of the Solway Coast in the North West of England.

Among some of the headline names revealed for this summer's instalment are 90s indie favourites, The Charlatans, led by O Genesis label boss, Tim Burgess, Aussie drum n bass legends, Pendulum, folk hero Seasick Steve and pioneering electronic duo, Orbital. Other standout acts include The Sugar Hill Gang, Jah Wobble, BC Camplight, Gentlemans Dub Club, Melt Yourself Down and Stanton Warriors. Check out Solfest's latest Instagram post above for more.
