After what can only be described as a complete belter of a first year the Sonica festival returns for it’s second year featuring a line up of the hottest live acts and DJs on the global psy trance scene. Located on the edge of the glorious Lake Bolsena in Italy, Sonica 2006 offers 4 days and 3 nights of pure psychedelic heaven boasting one of the biggest line-ups of psychedelic, progressive and chill out live acts and Djs assembled at this summers outdoor festival circuit! Boasting only two main arenas; the main dance floor which will be pumping out deep, progressive vibes through to full on psychedelic trance whilst the chill out/ alternative/ world music area offers a welcome breaks from the full on dancefloor, all located in one of Italy’s most beautiful destinations allowing you the opportunity to float away as you board the ride from beginning to end.

The Sonica 2006 is considered the main key European psychedelic event of the summer and will see tribes gathering from across the globe to celebrate summer. Over its two stages many artists from all over the world and as an extra special treat veterans of the festival scene OZRIC TENTACLES, the UK’s leading psychedelic-rock band for over 20 years will headline with a special performance.

The party is located in a 20 hectares field situated 800 meters from the shores of Lake Bolsena and will be divided into 7 main areas: the main dance floor, the ambient-chill out floor, healing area, cultural area, big market and restaurant zone, camping and car-parking.

The attendants will find on site contemporary installations and visuals, psy-deco, laser and fire shows, meetings and workshops, movie projections, healing and relaxing area, free wi-fi connection, camping with toilets and showers. Sound systems will be top notch in both music areas and the line up is going to be one of the best ever seen in a festival with the best acts from the trance and chill out scenes.
