Soundcrash has become synonymous with the best hip-hop, alternative and electronic gigs in London over the past few years. The team have secured their sterling reputation in the business, and are considered to be one of the most forward thinking brands when it comes to music events. On Saturday 7th February they are hosting a Tru Thoughts label party at The Kentish Town Forum.
Tru Thoughts will be celebrating a whopping 15 years on the scene come February. The iconic, Brighton-born imprint has been behind some of the significant releases including Bonobo's Animal Magic and Jon Kennedy's debut album We're Just Waiting For You Now.
Headlining the event with a DJ set is Quantic, otherwise known as Will Holland, who is a key player for the label and has had a string of releases under different aliases. A dab hand at beat making and dub cutting, Quantic has explored pretty much every genre, and boldly creates music that touches on Ethiopian jazz, techno and bass (check out his track with Pongo Love above).
Also on the roster are the live jazz collective Hidden Orchestra and reggae dub enthusiast Wrongtom. To view the full bill and get your tickets head here.
