Soup Kitchen's 2014 campaign has been nothing short of superb. The intimate eatery, bar and club has consistently brought some of the most exciting artists from the underground and left of field to the Northern Quarter, with Martyn, Pye Corner Audio, Jonas Kopp and Awesome Tapes From Africa being some of our favourite moments.

Its eclectic and high quality repertoire is further bolstered by its New Year's Eve plans, where Wet Play and Full Beam take a floor each to put on a delectable house and disco line up for its farewell 2014 party.

With the coveted number two slot in Piccadilly Records albums of the year for The Seven Moments, Garth Be's crate digging heritage will be on full display as digs deep into his huge record collection to pull out the irresistible grooves that he has become synonymous with (hear that below)).

Red Laser main man Il Bosco is another Mancunian that has enjoyed a vintage year, hitting parties across the UK and Europe with his authoritative Italo Disco selections, as heard on his Red Laser Disco compilation, perhaps one of the compilations of the year.

He will be joined by Bohemian Groove's very own Vietnam, a man whose charisma and fine ear for house, techno and electronica has seen him warm up for some of the biggest names to hit Islington Mill this year. Head here for your Soup Kitchen NYE tickets.
