Set in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter, the award-winning Soup Kitchen is fully embracing the last weeks of summer by filling them some of the biggest parties around.
Transmission Funk and Ordinary Friends invite house don Earl Jeffers to the underground haven on Friday 18th August. The Cardiff-based producer has already received huge praise and support from the likes of Kerri Chandler, Todd Terry and Skream, and will be performing alongside resident DJs.
Chamber will be returning to the venue on the 25th August for their third event, celebrating 10 years of Plex, one of the most vital underground techno parties to ever be held in the UK. Headliners for this event include Truss and Sync 24, who along with an array of talented acts will be bringing the sounds of electro and techno to the basement.
Finishing off the August festivities are promoters Kiss Me Again, for a Pride special featuring Synthia night’s founder Wes Baggaley alongside KMS’s resident DJs.
Zutekh returns on 1st September with a true deep house pioneer, Chez Damier, who is the co-founder of Prescription Records alongside Ron Trent, which is widely recognised as one of the greatest house labels of all time. Expect a masterclass from an industry great.
