South West Four continues to add even more world beaters to its lineup, this time including Paul Van Dyk and Paul Oakenfold.

South West Four has surprised us yet again with last nights latest announcement. With the lineup getting more staggering by the week, this announcement has to surely top it all off.
Joining some of the biggest names that dance music has to offer, including Armin Van Buuren, Carl Cox, Gareth Emery, Example and Knife Party, is perhaps one of the most famous names of trance music, none other than Paul Van Dyk.
He will be coming armed with his latest project: The Politics Of Dancing. The German icon is going to be a welcome addition to the Clapham Common Festival, which is quickly becoming one of the most impressive lineups in the world of electronic music festivals.
Paul Van Dyk - Winner of DJ Mag’s Best DJ award twice, is a DJ that has become a global icon since his humble beginnings back in the very early nineties. With his career starting with the fall of the Berlin wall in 1989, playing to thousands of people in warehouse venues and gaining widespread notoriety in both his hometown, and later the world over. A true pioneer of the sound of trance, Paul Van Dyk has remained at the forefront of the scene, and his in depth knowledge and experience at geting the crowd going wild will be in full effect at SW4 on the 24th August.
Joining him will be yet another trance music legend,and British institution - the mighty Paul Oakenfold. With such an illustrious career behind him, as one of the leading producers in dance music, and as one of the most sought after DJs in the world, Oakenfold always puts on a show to remember, a real spectacle, and always proves why he deserves to be so highly regarded. Showing no signs of letting up, his move back across the atlantic to grace London’s dance music highlight of the year is going to be something unmissable.
Joining these two big guns will be fellow trance heads Aly & Fila. The Egyptian mavericks have set the trance scene on fire since their debut 'Eye of Horus' made its appearance in clubs around the world, with devastating effect. Their powerful uplifting trance sound is guaranteed to get a few pulses raised at SW4 this year.
Also appearing will be trance hero Lange, appearing back to back with progressive trance producer, and fellow mainstay of the scene Andy Moor - the man behind Leama and Tilt. W&W will be getting behind the decks too, as will Super8 & Tab, Orjen Nilsen, and Simon Patterson.
The lineup at SW4 this year is not short of the best examples of trance music, and is an absolute essential to any fans of the genre. It is really quite rare to get so many of the biggest and influential names in the world of dance music together for one incredible weekend. Act fast before tickets sell out.
