Steve Angello vs Matisse and Sadko 'SLVR'

One third of the iconic Swedish House mafia readies the celebratory anthem for ten years of his record label size.

Love them or loathe them, there’s no denying the sheer reach and power the Swedish House Mafia crafted during their reign at the top of electronic music globally. After disbanding it’s allowed them to focus on their own solo projects, and with Sebastian Ingrosso selling tickets for his solo appearance at Brixton academy out at a rate of knots, a hugely successful new era for them. No truer is this the case than with Steve Angello.

His record label Size remained a huge draw during the SHM reign, selling out shows across the planet and releasing music from the likes of Third Party and Tim Mason, plenty of them slaying dancefloors across the globe. With it due to clock a decade of activity he’s got a new release in the pipeline, the progressive monster ‘SLVR’ alongside Matisse and Sadko. There’s a teaser video for the track below, which showcases it being premiered at a recent homecoming show Angello did in his native Stockholm.

Steve will be part of a monolithic Size Records showcase on these shores later on in the summer, when Motherwell in Scotland reverberates to the record label’s sonic thud. Joining Steve will be the imprint’s heavyweights AN21 & Max Vangeli, Third Party, Qulinez, Tim Mason and Wayne & Woods.
