VIVa Warriors main man Steve Lawler is the subject of a brand new documentary. Directed by British filmmaker Piers Sanderson who in 2010 made acid house and rave culture film High on Hope back in 2010, The Art of the DJ focusses its attentions on Steve Lawler and his journey from his early days in the underground to his current stature in the clubbing mainstream.

The documentary kicks off in Birmingham, and covers his early rave experiences, his success in Ibiza, and the trials of fame and drug use. Industry veterans Darren Hughes, Danny Whittle, Ben Turner and Carl Cox all make appearances. Watch the trailer below.
