Following a two year hiatus, Steve Lawler returns to London to re-launch his Harlem Nights residency.

With the first party set in an exciting warehouse space, this will be a chance for both old fans and new faces to witness Steve a play an intimate and exclusive five-hour set.

For seven years between 2002 and 2009, Steve Lawler held a very special monthly residency at The End. Harlem Nights was famous for bringing together a knowledgeable and friendly crowd, with the finest house and techno to create a now legendary electric atmosphere that is still talked about to this day. Rarely can a residency truly be labelled as legendary, but Steve’s Harlem Nights residency certainly was.

Steve is committed to recapturing the special vibe of his previous Harlem Nights events. As such, he has sourced a warehouse space that will provide the perfect backdrop to this exciting new chapter for his London residency. With the venue holding a maximum of 650 people, it will be a rare chance to see Steve play an extended set in an intimate setting. Additionally, VIVa MUSiC’s Bearweasel will be on hand with their warm, deep and dubby brand of house music as they return to face the Harlem Nights crowd that they know so well.

Room 2 will be hosted by eVIVE Records, the electronica arm of Lawler’s VIVa Records. On hand will be rising starlets Micromattic, Aboutface, and Beatoven. Delivering an altogether more chilled out and experimental sound this will serve as a perfect musical alternative for the Harlem Nights tribe.
