Stormzy has given fans a preview of what they can expect from his debut album via newly released track ‘Scary’ (listen below).
The Sir Spyro produced track is typically aggressive, with Stormzy championing top ten single ‘Shut Up’ in the opening verse: "you can tell me to shut up/we’ll both say shut up/when I say shut up/I get a plaque."
It's accompanied by an equally dark video (watch below) which is directed by regular collaborator Kaylum Dennis and opens with the rapper hanging from a noose.
‘Scary’ is the first taste of new music from Stormzy since ‘One Take Freestyle’, released in January. Both are likely to feature on the rapper’s currently untitled debut record, which is expected to drop this summer.
Its release could mark a monumental few months for the MC as he is also the bookies’ favourite to record England’s official Euro 2016 song.
