Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds headline the opening night of Lytham Festival this Thursday (4th August).
If the Mighty I wasn't enough of a drawer he will be supported by Reverend and the Makers and Mancunian guitarist Jeff Wootton. Inspiral Carpets' Clint Boon is in charge of selecting the tunes beforehand.
Led by Jon McClure, Reverend and the Makers roll in a chariot of Sheffield churned indie anthems spanning 'Heavyweight Champion of the World' (listen below) to this year's Stuck On You/Makin Babies EP.
If you're yet to hear the swirling sounds of Jeff Wootton's debut record The Way The Light, then you're likely to have stumbled upon many of his collaborations with the likes of Noel himself, Damon Albarn, Brian Eno and world-renowned artist Damian Hirst on a series of album artworks.
