We've already chatted in depth about why Tauron Nowa Muzyka is shaping up to be one of the coolest international festivals on our radar (read our preview here). This week's line up additions see the Polish Festival, which takes place in Katowice from August 21st, expand its quality line up with a wealth of musical visionaries called upon to make this year's edition even more essential.

First up is the addition of the one and only Theo Parrish. The Washington born Chicagoan has become one of the most respected pioneers of electronic music, with his jazz sensibilities bleeding through into the world of deep house and deep techno, making his sound both human, expansive, experimental and down right mesmerising (hear that in his timeless record 'Solitary Flight' above).

His recent live tour has seen him team up with Amp Fiddler and a host of other musicians to bring his stunning sound to life, which has understandably been deeply praised by the electronic community. Read our glowing review of his live set at The Ritz in Manchester here.

Joining him will be the immense, left of field talent of Werk Discs boss Actress. As one of the most singular voices in his field, Actress has been purveying the gritty, lo-fi sounds of analogue drenched electronica since the early 2000's, with last years LP Ghettoville seeing him delve even further into a toxic, foggy world of decayed drum loops and alien soundscapes (hear his interpretation of house music in 'Always Human' above). Fans of the avant garde are in for an absolute treat.

Elsewhere, the festival sees New York hip hop veteran Bilal, Brazilian minimalist Gui Boratto, UK techno don Pariah, Belgian bass heads GoldFFinch, and indie electronica songstress Adda Kaleh hooked in to cover a wide spectrum of under the radar, forward thinking electronic music.
