Each Tuesday, we'll be selecting the finest techno mixes from across the web to inject a dose of the finest underground techno into your midweek lives.
This time out, we've gone for a live, seat of your pants set from Minneapolis based DJ and producer DVS1. Recorded live back in 2013 at the incredible UNIT club in Tokyo, DVS1, real name Zak Khutoretsky tears through four whole hours of rolling beats, future sounds and hypnotic textures as he delivers an out and out techno masterclass.
From the dubbed out opener of Adriana Lopez's 'Estructura' to Radial's rolling tech beast 'Asiel', via Rrose's 'Shepherd's Brine' and STP's stunning 'The Fall', it's an intoxicating journey that will keep your interest piqued throughout. Mixed at a rate of knots and with all the flair he's notorious for in his live appearances, it's easy to see why he's considered one of the best techno DJs out there.
Head here for more on DVS1.
