When it comes to techno brands, they don't come much more prolific than Drumcode. And the man behind the imprint is one of the main reasons that it has reached stratospheric heights, conquering clubs and festivals alike.
In regards to festivals, there's one in particular which is wholly suited to Drumcode's powerful force and Adam Beyer's destructive sets, and that's Awakenings.
His three hour long set from the 2013 gathering is proof of why Beyer is considered to be a relentless techno icon. He utilises the extended time to indulge crowds in brooding beats, dynamic percussion and music from the likes of Gary Beck and Gregor Tresher.
You can catch Adam Beyer at LWE's New Year's Day event. Check out the rest of Beyer's upcoming gigs.
