Ben Klock is a name synonymous with the techno scene. A resident at Berghain and one of the most fruitful producers around, Klock's reputation as one of the most talented DJs and has now led to his debut Essential Mix.

Securing a position in the BBC Radio 1 mix series is a milestone for any artist. It means that their skills have been acknowledged and appreciated by dance music's followers and that they're worthy of one of the biggest platforms in the world.

Klock explained that he wanted this live club mix to reflect spontaneity. As expected, it's two hours of rip roaring, pumping techno and features killer tracks from the likes of Josh Wink, Spencer Parker, Cajmere and Inner City.
