Sweaty uncomfortable temperatures are on the way, guys. We all know how unpleasant it can get. But rooftop bars, with their stunning views, light breezes, and cold drinks, are pretty bloody amazing. So we figured if we spend these hot sticky days in the best rooftop bars in Liverpool, it’ll all be grand despite insane temperatures.
We know you don't want to melt away this summer either. So check out these cracking Liverpool rooftop bars that’ll make sweltering away in the summer heat a bit more enjoyable. At least that’s what we hope.

Starting off strong, Einstein Bier Haus is one best rooftop bars in Liverpool for proper pub or beer fans. Complete with hearty comfort food, live music, sports across 30 flat screens, and an impressive variety of beers and cocktails that come in steins, we'd say it's heaven. So grab a stein full of your bev of choice, walk up to the roof, sit yourself down on the picnic-style benches and chat the night away.

With a solid gin, cocktail, and spritz (available in pitchers!) menu, FIVE is effortlessly one of the best rooftop bars in Liverpool in summer. Since the bar is on Seel Street Hotel in central Liverpool, you can see over the docks and much of the city centre. Often soundtracked by DJs and live musicians, FIVE is a solid choice for those looking to bask in the summer sun and make the most of the season before it's gone.

Matou is another venue in an enviable location. This Asian restaurant overlooks the waterfront, the Pier Head, and the Liver Building. Super Instagrammable, fruity cocktails continuously flowing, and views of the waterfront and Liverpool Cathedral - Garden of Eden on top of The Shankly Hotel is definitely summer vibes. With live music for the lively nights and rooftop cinema nights for quiet ones, it’s easy to spend your whole summer here. Well, as long as you can get a spot! It’s probably a good idea to book.

Sunbathe on Peacock's rooftop terrace in between munching down slices of artisan pizza and sipping back bevs. And when the night comes, the terrace will be light up with neon lights, only making their peacock mural look ten times cooler. Open until late, 3 am some nights and 4 am on others, The Peacock might be the best for a late night out.

Red Door already has a pretty fantastic reputation for their killer cocktails. And now, their rooftop bar Eden will have a new bespoke cocktail menu created by Red Door’s skilful, award-winning team. The bar’s tropical theme, achieved with dangling plants, neon signs, and fairy lights, is exactly the atmosphere that’ll complement this crazy incoming heatwave.

Roxy’s Hanover Street branch is full of the usual - crazy pool, ping pong, beer pong, shuffleboard, American pool - but also has a cracking little rooftop terrace. Between that simplistic rooftop terrace escape and the many games available, Roxy’s effortlessly secured its place on our list of the best rooftop bars in Liverpool.
Carpathia

Small but stylish with one of the best views on this list, Carpathia sits on top of 30 James Street Hotel. The decor is toned down, and the Liver Building is close you’ll feel like you can reach it. But don’t actually try to, obviously. At the time of writing, the website says the bar is closed, so be sure to check before you make the journey. But when it’s open, the views are the perfect backdrop for sipping bubbly.
14 Bar & Grill

As you sit sipping your drink, the sun starts to set, drowning the bar and you in gorgeous deep pinky purple and orange hues. At least that’s the experience at 14 Bar & Grill, thanks to the entire area being encased in glass. Perched on the 14th floor, you’ll enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Liverpool's skyline while your taste buds are sent to heaven by their extensive menu that includes burgers, sushi, truffle chips, and lamb shank.

Open Wednesdays to Sundays between April and September, Goodness Gracious is Oh Me Oh My’s Liverpool beautiful rooftop bar. Answering our prayers, Goodness Gracious has begun serving afternoon tea complete with a savoury snack, a sweet treat and champagne, naturally. Can anything be wrong in the world when you’re eating a French fancy with a glass of champagne with stunning views of Liverpool’s skyline? Yeah, we doubt it.

Tempest on Tithebarn really is something special. Keen to stay fresh and local, the bar has bees making honey that they use in food and drinks and an in-house bakery for that perfect burger bun. The bar also has plans for a herb garden on the roof. With lovely views, a slushie bar, brunch, live music, and other events, it’s definitely up there with the best rooftop bars in Liverpool.

Crazy Pedro’s rooftop area isn’t the biggest, but it still soaks up the sun and will pair immaculately well with one of their frozen margaritas. The go-to rooftop bar for chilling, Pedro’s offers pizza with zany toppings by the slice, nachos, and drinks with sweets as garnish. We can confidently say that this Pedro's branch was definitely made for chatting shit through the night until the early hours.

Admittedly Panoramic 34 isn’t really a rooftop bar as it isn’t on the rooftop. But it is a lovely bar, so we figured we’d add it here and let you decide. And to be fair, it’s probably a good thing that it’s indoors and not on the roof as it’s a whopping 300 ft above sea level on the 34th floor. It's one of the UK's highest restaurants and offers 360 views to enjoy while enjoying a classic cocktail. Even though it technically doesn’t belong on this list, we think it’s earned its place.
