The Alabama 3 target Scottish acoustic dates

The outfit will bring stripped back renditions of their bluesy bangers to a handful of dates in October.

Heavy grooving, blues loving thumpers Alabama 3 will bring their intimate acoustic tour to a handful of Scottish dates this October, with a stripped back celebration of their glorious back catalogue on display.

Their most recent album, 2016's Blues, is a ten song collection of futuristic country numbers, some with strong electronic grooves, whilst others are more rooted in traditional sounds. Each tell a story with vivid and frank lyrics, much like the album's lead single 'I'll Never Be Satisfied' - watch the mind melting video below.

The band will lay bare their self described 'sweet mutherfucking country acid house' sound at two live shows, one at Dundee's Beat Generator Live on Friday 20th October and Dumfries' The Venue on Sunday 22nd October, and they will also bring their acoustic set to Edinburgh's EH6 Festival, which takes place between Saturday 21st - Sunday 22nd October.
