Back with a bang, the Manchester Biennial Nowt Part OfFestival returns with a new partner in tow. From the 21st to 28thJune the event will combine with the Manchester Acoustic Blues Festival MABS Fest to provide an exciting preliminary alternative to what is happening City wide in July. The MABS Blues and Roots Festival will start the proceedings and runs from Sunday 21st into Monday 22nd with the latter featuring presentation of the European Blues Awards for 2014. During the rest of the week there will be a celebration of brand new professional small cast modern drama culminating in the Grand Finale on Sunday 28th June.

The whole Nowt Part Of week of events will be held at the recently remodelled Eagle Inn theatre venue in Salford and artists from all over the world will be taking part. The Acoustic Blues performances include Ryan McGarvey (USA), Peter Von Toy (France), Kyla Brox and a number of the North West?s favourites.

The modern drama on show features 4 completely new works including a tribute to the late Syd Barrett, The Mad Cap Laughs by Luke Richards, Accident of Birth by Manchester?s prolific Trevor Suthers and Pieces of Light by Amie George. The midweek premieres will feature audience question and answer sessions with the final Sunday providing a chance to see the whole drama programme throughout the day.

Organiser Mike Francis Carvalho commented ?The aim of Nowt Part Of 2015 is to take what we achieved with the independent arts festival last biennial and widen the appeal. Tourists from as far away as Australia, as well as massive support from Greater Manchester made the forerunner something to be proud of. The festival is completely independent; all we ask is that the public shows their support by attending the ?all under a tenner? events?.
