The Avalanches to release first album in 16 years?

Remember The Avalanches and the follow up to their debut album that never happened? And if you remember that, all of those rumours that an album was on its way including the band noting it would be, "so fucking party you will die". 

Of course, shuffling your social network pack is a tremor that cannot be ignored. Now the band have updated their networks with an image of a golden butterfly to suggest an album is finally on its way.

Of course there's the other factor to consider which one facebook user comments "They're just fucking with us again", although if rumours are true then we could be tuning in to 'Frontier Psychiatrist' mark II before long - listen to that above. Fingers crossed people.
