Canadian collective The Besnard Lakes are to tour the UK in May, hitting northern cities Manchester and Liverpool.

Canadian collective The Besnard Lakes are to tour the UK in May, hitting northern cities Manchester and Liverpool. Formed by husband and wife Jace Lasek and Olga Goreas in 2003, they've since gone on to create four albums, the second of which, The Besnard Lakes Are the Dark Horse, was a storming success for the band.
Described as a mix between My Bloody Valentine and Fleetwood Mac - the latter of which the band state as a huge influence of their own sound, even replicating iconic photoshoots of the 70s folk pop legends.
The band's latest release will come on March 3rd and with sporadic single releases teasing fans until then, including 'The Golden Lion' as well its sister track, 'Laura Lee' The Besnard Lakes are the Divine Wind promises more psychedelic-dipped melodies with ethereal vocals.
