Where: The Botanical Gardens in Sheffield
Prepare for an enchanting night in Sheffield’s luscious botanical gardens at Illuminate The Gardens 2024. This year, the mesmerizing light installations return with a Hidden Treasures theme, featuring a laser show in the iconic glass pavilions. Families can choose between 'low bangs' fireworks in the early evening or a thrilling main display.
Amidst the magic, you can savour the sensational street food and drinks from the bar, and enjoy kids' activities and vintage fairground rides. However, the true star of the night is the Botanical Gardens itself, aglow with stunning lighting.

Autumn Lights at Don Valley Bowl

Get ready for a sensational Bonfire Night celebration as Autumn Lights returns to Sheffield's Don Valley Bowl on Tuesday, November 5th. Year on year the Don Valley Bowl is graced with an event better than the last, as DJ Ryan Swain and his live band are back to set the stage, the lively funfair continues to get the blood pumping, and delicious street food tantalises taste buds; all before the night sky is painted in explosion with Sheffield's BIGGEST firework display.
Not only all of this, but the event will feature glowing roaming performers, live fire performers, and an early children's firework display that is a bit quieter than the main event.

Fancy a boogie with your Bonfire? Luckily for you, Sheffield’s finest party pad Yellow Arch Studios are bringing two excellent acts and a bunch of quality food and drink stalls to go alongside the fireworks and bonfire on Saturday 2nd November.
Funk and soul group Kiziah & The Kings and the Steel City’s premium songstress Sarah Mac will take to the Yellow Arch stage, giving you an eclectic mix of reggae, synth pop, rock, and more to soundtrack your evening. To quench your thirst and quell your hunger, you can tuck into the food and drink options, then gawk at the fireworks display as it lights up the Neepsend sky.

It's a spooktacular event crammed with fun and thrills catering to all ages, where everyone is encouraged to dress in their most frightful attire. Children, families, and friends can enjoy the disco, fairground rides, colouring activities and circus workshop, and quality entertainment.
But, obviously, the highlight of the night is a breathtaking fireworks display, featuring rockets, Catherine wheels, and more.
It's a family night set to dazzle and delight, creating lasting memories for all, and is only a short trip outside of Sheffield!
Locke Park Charity Bonfire and Fireworks Display 2024

This one might seem a stretch as it is the furthest out from Sheffield, but we still think this Barnsley belter warrants an inclusion, as it really isn’t too long of a round trip, plus it’s for charity so it’s worth giving all the support! So if you decide to make the trip to Locke Park to celebrate its Charity Bonfire and Fireworks Display, you won’t regret one of the best fireworks displays in South Yorkshire.
Organised by Barnsley Round Table volunteers, this family-friendly event offers funfair rides (not included in the entry ticket), food and drink stalls, a massive bonfire created from donated fire doors, and obviously, a dazzling 15-minute fireworks display to cap off the night in style. This is all while supporting local charities and causes with event profits staying in the Barnsley community.
