Halloween is arguably the best holiday of the year. If you’re a parent, it’s an excuse to dress your little monsters up and show them how fun the spooky holiday can be. If you aren’t, it’s a great excuse to go out, have a laugh, and drink a bit too much. And adding daft costumes to the mix so you can embarrass yourself and bully your mates a bit multiplies the fun.

Beaver Works Halloween Rave

Where: Beaver Works in Leeds

Kicking off this list with one of the best Halloween events in Leeds, trusty Beaver Works returns with its Halloween rave. They’ll be totally transforming the entire venue to get you in the spooky spirit. Boasting over 70 artists and performers in DnB, UKG, house, and more, they’ll have fairground rides - including a ghost train, art installations and live graffiti, a food hut, a chill-out area, and more. It’s looking proper heavy.

Halloween Party 

When: Sunday 27th October 2024

Where: Swillington Sports And Social Club in Leeds

Since Halloween is one of the best nights of the year for the littluns, it makes sense to go all out so they can fully enjoy the holiday while they’re still young. This annual Halloween party is selling out fast, probably thanks to all the fun it has on offer such as a kids entertainer, games, and a raffle. When: Friday 1st November 2024

Where: Playroom in Leeds

Not everyone in their 30s wants to rave with those in their late teens and 20s, so Hanky Panky brings a 30s+ bassline rave to Playroom. Returning for one night only, this all-nighter goes from 9pm until 4am, seeing sets from Shaun Banger Scott B2B Nev Wright, Sub Zero, DJ Smallz vs MFD, and more. Rhys Nicholson: Huge Big Party Congratulations!

When: Wednesday 30th October 2024

Where: The Wardrobe in Leeds

If going out dancing or moshing isn’t really your vibe, that’s cool, maybe you’ll fancy a bit of stand-up comedy instead. Rhys Nicholson comes to The Wardrobe on the night before Halloween with a brand-new hour-long stand-up show. The winner of Most Outstanding Show at Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2022 received great reviews for this show. We’d tell you more but we don’t want to ruin it for you!

When: Thursday 31st October 2024

Where: Project House in Leeds

Halloween night at Project House sees El Kiddo bring spooky vibes with this circus-themed party. Featuring a Taylor Swift tribute, themed decor, DJs, singers, entertainers, a juggling workshop, glitter and face painting, stilt walkers, confetti, balloon modelling, street food, and more, this is one the whole family can enjoy.

Corpse Farm Presents: Mabgate Fundraiser Halloween Show

When: Wednesday 30th October 2024

Where: Mabgate Bleach in Leeds

This hardcore punk gig at Mabgate Bleach sees seven artists perform, raising funds for the independent venue. Leeds hardcore band Urgent Hate headline, joined by Aperture, Thick Water, Knife, Internal Riot, Crocodile, and Limowreck. Those who dress up will automatically be entered into the costume competition, which could win you a “cheeky” prize. Bring your own booze and warm up your spin-kicking legs.

Invicta Audio x Euphoria | LEEDS HOUSE PARTY

When: Friday 1st November 2024

Where: a secret venue in Leeds

Invicta Audio have a real treat in store for Leeds. Coming through with one of their house party events, they’ll be taking over a secret venue and flooding it with the sounds of drum and bass. Mall Grab

When: Saturday 2nd November 2024

Where: The Warehouse in Leeds

From 11pm until 4am, The Warehouse welcomes Aussie spinner Mall Grab, who’ll be blasting through house, techno, minimal techno, and electronic tunes. Our House and Federation are joining forces for this Day of the Dead party at The Wardrobe. A daytime party, this one kicks off at 3pm and runs until 10:30pm. In the main room, there'll be upfront house and classics, while there'll be trance in the Euphoric Room. With sets from Mama P, Dale Castell, Marc Leaf, and more, it'll undoubtedly be one of the best Halloween events in Leeds.

RUMBLE Halloween w/ OZDE - Garage, Speed Garage & Bass

When: Thursday 31st October 

Where: Freedom Mills in Leeds

Another brill shout for skint students! Rumble and Warped bring garage, speed garage, bass, and jungle to Freedom Mills every Friday. But since Halloween’s such a big night, they’re moving it up a day on Halloween week so you lot can go out on the spookiest night of the year.

The industrial warehouse space will see sets from OZDE, Dush B2B Ralph Halkett, and Rayner. There’ll be immersive decor, an interactive street fighter arcade, and loads of drink deals like a can of beer for £4, £3.50 shots, and more.

Euphoria Halloween 2024 | Leeds

Where: Mint Warehouse in Leeds

Skint Thursdays at Space

When: multiple dates including Thursday 24th and Thursday 31st October 2024 

Where: The Space in Leeds

From 11pm until 5am, Skint Thursdays takes over Space to ensure those who are strapped for cash can still have a belting night out. Dedicated to house and funky house, FunkyLove is back with its big annual All Hallows' Eve party. Ferry Corsten 3 Hour Extended Set : Digital Society Leeds

When: Saturday 2nd November 2024

Where: The Warehouse in Leeds

Digital Society invites you to immerse yourself in the soundscapes Ferry Corsten weaves just after Halloween. The Lights Band Halloween Party

When: Friday 25th October 2024

Where: Bramley Villagers Club in Leeds

Leeds’s The Lights Band brings its annual spooky bash to Bramley Villagers Club. They’ll be doing live music bingo, a fancy dress competition with prizes, and getting everyone dancing with a DJ. The band will be playing rock anthems and Halloween classics, running a raffle, and hosting games. Into Reality: Denis Sulta

Where: The Warehouse in Leeds

Denis Sulta blesses The Warehouse with the sounds of house, tech house, and disco house, thanks to the event series Into Reality. Putting the DJ booth in the centre of the dance floor, Into Reality lives by the motto “music without boundaries”. The event asks attendees not to film or take pictures on their mobile phones on the dance floor, and camera stickers will be handed out to those willing to participate. Sulta will be joined by SHEE and MUSYS.

This one (like a few others on this list) isn’t a proper Halloween event but it’s near the date and it’s going to be ace. All about big 90s anthems, the throwback expects at 90s Baby bring Heather Small, N-Trance, Herd & Fitz featuring Abigail Bailey, Phats & Small, Baby D, Livin Joy featuring Luzahnn, and more to the lovely TESTBED. Dungeon Meat, Keefy G B2B Le Louche, and Reeshy B2B Georgia will make this night one to remember. Slapfunk and Ruckus24 link up to gift us one of the best Leeds Halloween parties this year at a new underground pop-up venue, which is accessed via a secret entrance beneath the city’s railway line.
