The Christmas Grotto at West Hagley

Where: Webbs in West Hagley 

Step into a winter wonderland so magical you might forget you’re in Hagley. With decorations that rival Santa’s own workshop and activities that keep the kids grinning from ear to ear, this grotto is pure Christmas gold. Children can post their letters to Santa before mixing their own reindeer food to take home ready for Christmas Eve. Then it's time to see Santa in his cosy cabin to complete the magical experience before choosing a toy.

Santa Safari at the West Midlands Safari Park

Santa and a safari? It’s like Christmas and summer vacation rolled into one! Start with an adventurous safari ride all the way to the North Pole, and finish with your little ones meeting Santa in his cosy grotto. Set inside a wonderfully decorated log cabin, which you will take their enchanted elevator up to, Snata will have time to hear what's on the top of your wishlist, and then get a little picture. Afterwards, the elves will take yu tot he workshop where the kids can pick something special out from Santa's production line. An awesome day out of family festivities. 

Enchanted Christmas Grotto at Drayton Manor

If theme parks and Christmas sound like a winning combo, Drayton Manor’s got you covered. The whole place transforms into a festive paradise, complete with rides, lights, and a top-tier Santa’s grotto. Trust us, even the Grinch couldn’t resist this much Christmas magic. The kids will be delighted by all the seasonal activities and festive cheer and will walk up eyes wide to their spell-binding Enchanted Christmas Grotto, where Father Christmas himself will be waiting to share their wishes and give gifts. 

The Polar Express Birmingham

All aboard the nostalgia train! Brought to you by Vintage Trains, The Polar Express experience theatrically re-creates the classic children’s tale, so you and your family can be immersed in the sights, sounds and intrigue of this railroad rollercoaster. Expect excited kids, twinkling lights, and at least one adult asking if they get a gift too. (Spoiler: You don’t, but the experience is gift enough!) Experience the Midlands countryside by rail, and get a dose of Christmas magic as you receive your ticket and get ti stamped this festive season. 

Enchanted Christmas Kingdom at Hatton Adventure World

If your kids have ever wanted to feel like honorary elves for a day, Hatton Adventure World’s Enchanted Christmas Kingdom is the place to be. From meeting Santa to playing in the snowy enchanted village, unlocking Father Christmas’ Secret Toy Shop with their own special key to choosing a present from a huge selection of gifts. With Mr Holly’s Festive Friends Show, Gingerbread Decorating, Reindeer Food Making, and the North Pole Postal Station also available to explore and enjoy, this is Christmas turned up to 11.

Stories with Santa at Warwick Castle

It’s not every day you get to meet Santa in a Castle, but this is Christmas, so why not go big? Gather around for magical storytelling sessions with Santa, surrounded by the grandeur of Warwick Castle. Begin your journey by joining Santa's cheery elves for some fun and festive magic. Then join Santa & Mrs. Claus who will be eagerly waiting to share a magical Storytime with you, followed by a festive present. Just don’t let the kids start demanding a moat at home!
