Yet, as we're sure you'll agree, one of the most magical memories you can have as a child around Christmas is going to see Santa in one of his Grottos that he tours all around the country.

The streets of Brum are no stranger to the big man and are some of the busiest spots in the midlands for him when it comes to meet and greets. The Christmas Grotto at West Hagley

Step into a winter wonderland so magical you might forget you’re in Hagley. With decorations that rival Santa’s own workshop and activities that keep the kids grinning from ear to ear, this grotto is pure Christmas gold. Children can post their letters to Santa before mixing their own reindeer food to take home ready for Christmas Eve. Then it's time to see Santa in his cosy cabin to complete the magical experience before choosing a toy.
Santa Safari at the West Midlands Safari Park

Santa and a safari? It’s like Christmas and summer vacation rolled into one! Start with an adventurous safari ride all the way to the North Pole, and finish with your little ones meeting Santa in his cosy grotto. Set inside a wonderfully decorated log cabin, which you will take their enchanted elevator up to, Snata will have time to hear what's on the top of your wishlist, and then get a little picture. Afterwards, the elves will take yu tot he workshop where the kids can pick something special out from Santa's production line. An awesome day out of family festivities.
Enchanted Christmas Grotto at Drayton Manor

The whole place transforms into a festive paradise, complete with rides, lights, and a top-tier Santa’s grotto. Trust us, even the Grinch couldn’t resist this much Christmas magic. Brought to you by Vintage Trains, The Polar Express experience theatrically re-creates the classic children’s tale, so you and your family can be immersed in the sights, sounds and intrigue of this railroad rollercoaster. Expect excited kids, twinkling lights, and at least one adult asking if they get a gift too. (Spoiler: You don’t, but the experience is gift enough!) Experience the Midlands countryside by rail, and get a dose of Christmas magic as you receive your ticket and get ti stamped this festive season.
