Even though there are more than 21 seconds to go until festival season is in full swing, it's still approaching pretty quickly. With tickets selling fast, and a high demand to have something planned over summer, the last thing you want is to be a part of that resell list. However, because here at Skiddle we’re full of kindhearted, generous people, we’ve created a list that will have you super prepared.

 

With there being a heap of garage festivals on the mark this year, we have created a worthy list that will have you spoilt for choice, and realistically we wouldn’t want it any other way. 

 

So get feasting for all those old skool sounds, as we lay out the best garage festivals in 2024. 

 

UK Garage By The Sea

When: Sunday 28th July 2024

Where: The Oval in Hastings, England

2024 lineup: Artful Dodger, Sweet Female Attitude, Wiley, So Solid Crew, Shola Ama, Donaeo and more

Want to listen to some garage with a view? By the seas perhaps?  Then UK Garage by the Sea might be the place for you. Pitting themselves at the top for providing nothing but pure garage sounds throughout the day, this festival does not go unnoticed. 

Plus it gets better as the outdoor festivals always bring the best UKG artists to their stage and this year they did not disappoint, with Artful Dodger, Sweet Female Attitude, Wiley, So Solid Crew, Shola Ama, Donaeo and more gracing their stages. 

So get your chance to be a part of the 5000 ravers this year and explore their fairground, food village, and of course seaside settings.

Electric Bay

Where: Torre Abbey in Torquay, England

2024 lineup: Sub Focus, Example, Wilkinson, Joel Corry, Digga D, Hybrid Minds and more 

If you want more UKG, the Saturday at Electric Bay will be more your vibe. But if you’re happy to skank and bob along to drum and bass, house, and dub, why not go for the whole weekend? Going down in Torquay this summer, not only will you be treated to the hottest electronic sounds, but the sun is certain to be out, spreading positivity and joy down on ravers. 

Digga D will be headlining on Saturday with a big day ahead following by DJ EZ, Example, Joel Corry and more. Then sunday will have Hybrid Minds headline with Sub Focus, Wilkinson, Bou and loads more.

Old Skool Neverland Festival

We've got something brand spanking new on the list here, and if you're a fan of hip hop, bassline and heavy UKG then this is going to be right up your street. Bringing all the legends that had us bopping our heads to some serious beats is, Old Skool Neverland Festival. With their list full of everything we love about baseline to blast through their speakers over 3 days in Basingstoke; we couldn't be more gassed about this one. 

On the agenda for this banging Bank Holiday Festival is, Wiley, Romeo & Lisa Mafia, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Artful Dodger, Big Brovaz, and plenty more.

Garage Nation On The Pier

51st Festival has a massive lineup this year spanning UK garage, house, hip-hop, soul and R&B, dancehall, soca and hip-hop, and afrobeats. The lineup for this year, and every other year for that matter, is overflowing with pioneers and legends from all over including the UK, the US, the Caribbean, and more. 

The fest has been going strong since 2015 and is truly heaven for music fans that possess a wide musical palette. If you’re looking for fantastic UK garage festivals with plenty of other soundscapes on offer, 51st is the one.

Since its 2014 debut, MADE has become one of the biggest festivals in the Midlands for music fans who just want to dance all day long. MADE Festival will promise to keep you entertained with a range of genres on their agenda from rum and bass, house, tech house, and bass music artists. Including the star of the show a tone of UKG. 

Last year some major artists hit the MADE festival stages from the likes of,  Girls Don't Sync, Sammy Virji, Lee Hasty, Joris Bohnson, Shorterz, Jack Young, Hybrid Minds, Shy FX, and Ben Hemsley, so whatever they have in store this year get ready to raving all night long.

So don't hesitate to getting yourself to Digbeth Triangle to hear some of the hottest sounds spun by some of the biggest artists and DJs in the world.

There is something big happening in Chelmsford, Essex this year, as New World Festival brings itself down to Kings Farm for an incredible festival. Ready to smash it out of the park with some big stage production, and mint visual installations. With genres like tech house, electronic, bass music, drum n bass, and of course UKG. 

There will be 10 stages decorated with a strong theme to take 10,000 ravers to new heights, with a wide range of hosts from Adobe, Lovejuice, Ministry of Sound, Cream Classic, Breakin Silence, Epidemik, UKF and more. However, if you want to experience more UKG sounds then Sunday will be your best day as Sub Focus, Dimension, Turno, Siren and more will be on the decks.

JACFEST Presents The Cambridge Day Festival

Happening pretty early on in April, this Cambridge Day Festival is based at Cambridge Junction, and is ready to meet every expectation you'd have for a garage festival. With the heavy sound of UK garage, house, funky house, old skool and more. 

The lineup consists of, Gok Wan, Alex P, Lisa Loud, Ramsey & Fen, Mike 'Ruff Cut' Lloyd, Bobby & Steve, and so many more, each of whom will will take on the 4 stages set up for your enjoyment. And before you start worrying about not having enough time , there is also an afterparty for you to keep pushing on with those big party vibes.

Square One: Easter Festival with WILKINSON

Taking place in Lincoln at the Lincolnshire Showground, there'll be more than enough scenes and space for you to rave well into the night. Plus if you get there early you can get cosy with the stage to witness pure magic firsthand. With Wilkinson headlining, and other talents like K Motionz, Serum, Gray, Phibes, Jayfor, Badger heading to the stages, you're definitely in for a treat this Easter.
