The final Bank Holiday of the summer sees the arrival of family friendly weekender The Big Kahuna Festival at Holmbush Farm in Sussex. Starring an extensive programme of entertainment and activities for kids, and ale and dance tents for adults amongst a lot more, the three day festival is perfectly designed with all ages in mind.
The music line up is impressive as well, with Madchester icons Happy Mondays headlining the Saturday night alongside live electronica, hip- hop and dub collective Dub Pistols (watch them in action above), and disco edit king Greg Wilson. The Bravo Zulu dance tent harks back to the old skool, with Farley Jackmaster Funk, 808 State, Utah Saints and Marshall Jefferson supplying the retro beats.
The Sunday follows with as much prestige, as Orbital's Paul Hartnoll rubs shoulders with Boney M, The Skints and Toploader on the main stage. Norman Jay undertakes a four hour Good Times set in the dance tent alongside ex-Shaman member Mr. C, Bushwacka! and X-Press 2. Check the full Big Kahuna line up here.
