Peter & The Test Tube Babies, Goldblade, The Skints, Pronghorn, The Toasters, Sharks, The Vibrators, Janice Graham Band, Orange, Hearts on Fire, The Foundations and The Dugz are also all confirmed to appear across the weekend.

The Blockheads will close the tent on Friday 20th July. Having first played Wickerman’s main stage six years ago the jazz-rock collective, who celebrate their 35th anniversary this September, will be delivering a slate of crowd-pleasing classic material. They are joined on the bill by fellow Wickerman veterans; Manchester-based Goldblade, the critically acclaimed Sharks and London based reggae and dub upstarts The Skints.

In what’s shaping up to be one of the best parties of the summer, seventies punk act Peter & The Test Tube Babies, US and UK pop punk rising stars Orange, the all girl four piece Hearts Under Fire, musical pioneers The Vibrators and Dumfries & Galloway’s own The Foundations will also be bringing their finest to the festival’s Friday line-up.

Amongst those taking to the Scooter tent stage on Saturday 21st July are British cow punk act Pronghorn and America’s first ska band, Manhattan based The Toasters, currently on their 30th anniversary tour. Manchester funkateers The Janice Graham Band will give the Wickerman crowd a taste of their new concept album, Scotland’s very own The Dugz will bring their brand of raw street punk to the fore and Davy Cowan & The Hose Beast will keep the party atmosphere going with high energy punk covers.

The most eagerly anticipated set may well come as Saturday night is brought to a close by ska sensationalists Bad Manners, whose legendary 2009 performance at the festival sets an exciting precedent.

The Blockheads' Mick Gallagher commented: "We played Wickerman six years ago and what makes it stand out from other festivals is its genuinely friendly atmosphere.  It's a festival for everyone who loves music and it gives us a chance to play a festival in Scotland which can only be a good thing!"

New York pop stars Scissor Sisters and top Scottish band Texas were recently announced as the headline acts for the main Summerisle stage, joined by very special guests The View, a DJ set from Mike Skinner, Levellers, Newton Faulkner and Kassidy, naming just a few.

With ten stages of live music there’s plenty more to come and the Axis Reggae Tent, Em-It Tent, Acoustic Village, goNorth Festival Tour Tent, Greenman Inn and Ho-down Wendy House are all still to be announced.
