Over the summer months The Corps of Army Music will be running a series of concerts in the Royal Military School of Music in Twickenham.
The Royal Military School of Music is based in Kneller Hall. The glorious stately home was taken over by the War Office in 1857 as a school for army bandsmen and is now the largest employer of musicians in the UK.
The music taught and preformed by The Corps of Army Music is never limited to martial music. From jazz to swing, popular to operatic, the bands successfully work their way through a variety of genres.
There will be four family-friendly events taking place in July all featuring a specific musical theme, each for a different charity.
Saturday 5th July will be their Rock and Pop evening in aid of Soundseekers, Sunday 13th July will feature the Army Reserve bands to raise money for The Royal British Legion.
Wednesday 16th July will be all about the Corps of Army Brass Bands (check out the video above of them preforming last year) for a charity which is yet to be nominated and the Last Night of The Proms closing event will be in aid of the CAMUS trust.
