Punk pioneers The Dictators will bring a new incarnation of their band to the UK in August.
Founder members Handsome Dick Manitoba, Ross The Boss, and JP 'Thunderbolt' Patterson met with Dean 'The Dream' Rispler and the less extravagantly named Daniel Rey to form a new band in 2015.
Out of respect to their former members they renamed the group The Dictators NYC and will perform a string of UK dates under their new moniker.
The Dictators are one of the most influential punk bands to come from New York and their debut album Go Girl Crazy! is considered a precursor to the genre. Listen to California Sun from the album above.
Their tour will see them come to six UK venues including shows at Leeds' Brudenell Social Club on Tuesday 2nd August, Newcastle's Think Tank! on Wednesday 3rd August and Manchester's FAC 251 The Factory on Thursday 4th August.
UK tour dates below:
Aberdeen - Krakatoa, Sunday 31st July
Edinburgh - Bannermans, Monday 1st August
Leeds - Brudenell Social Club, Tuesday 2nd August
Newcastle - Think Tank!, Wednesday 3rd August
Manchester - FAC 251 The Factory, Thursday 4th August
