London promoters The Doctor's Orders have a bumper weekend of hip hop lined up at the start of November, with three heavyweights from the music flying over from the States for three shows.
Friday 3rd November sees lyricist par excellence and Dilated Peoples emcee Evidence at Brixton Jamm, the rapper making a very rare solo appearance ahead of an album he's due to drop. As well as being a third of the legendary west coast group, Ev has earned his stripes as not only one of the most forward-thinking rappers out there, but also a skilled producer who has worked with Beastie Boys, Linkin Park and notably with Kanye West on his debut Lp The College Dropout.
Then one day later the East Coast takes centre stage. Havoc, the production nous and one half of the lyrical threat behind legendary hip hop group Mobb Deep), will play alongside Queensbridge brethren Big Noyd at Mangle in the capital. This will be a particularly poignant affair after the tragic passing of Havoc's Mobb Deep sidekick Prodigy earlier in the year, his first on these shores since the event.
A secret venue then sees arguably the most important and well-known hip hop DJ of all time, Philly trailblazer Jazzy Jeff, taking centre stage in the evening. Tickets are available for both Havoc and Jazzy Jeff shows, as well as separately. All Doctor's Order's tickets are available for these shows via the boxes below
