Two of Glasgow's leading events organisers have joined forces to unleash one of the underground dance music events of the summer - Riverside Festival, which will bring the leading lights in house and techno to the iconic Riverside Museum on the banks of the River Clyde.

Taking place on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th May, the opening day will star brand new collaboration Sirusmodeselektor, a new venture comprised of 50 Weapons label owners Modeselektor, keyboardist Siriusmo and visuals experts Pfadfinderei.

The Festival also enlists the expertise of leading lights like Ben UFO, Joy Orbison and Berlin techno don Len Faki (see him in action above), as well as Scottish superpowers Slam and Optimo. Midland, Julio Bashmore, Karenn, Robert Hood's Floorplan alias and Prosumer round off the opening day's play.

All conquering techno brand Cocoon are in full effect on the Saturday, with Sven Vath and Ricardo Villalobos sitting at the zenith of the day's billing. Detroit techno trailblazer Carl Craig gets involved too, as does Magda, Nina Kraviz, Ron Trent, Horse Meat Disco, Popof and Balearic Mike & Kelvin Andrews. Get your Riverside Festival tickets here.
