There are probably very few who are are more qualified than Crazy P vocalist and lead lady Danielle Moore, when it comes to providing insight into how experiencing clubs and venues on those big nights out can ultimately change who we are as individuals, and sometimes even shape our future paths in life.
The northern rare groove hero, prolific singer-songwriter, passionate dance enthusiast and regular DJ, met her now fellow bandmates following such a night out, dancing long into the early hours at some of Manchester's most renowned and widely adored clubs.
"Meeting like minded people and finding your tribe is so important whilst growing up" Danni explains, "and clubs help us do that".
Born in Greater Manchester, now residing in Birmingham, Danni first encountered her Crazy P tribe whilst belting out a Shirley Bassey number at an after party (we’ve all been there, but probably not as successfully). Danni goes on to explain how night clubs and other venues create a safe space for us to learn who we are and eventually meet the people who will be in our lives for the foreseeable. In Danni’s case, this happens to be our host Pippa’s parents.
We chatted to Danni about the clubs that introduced and drove her passion for music. We learn that Danni loved to dance from an early age, and found it difficult to leave the dance floor on nights out.
This episode strengthens our observations from our other episodes, that our going out experiences are imperative to us as people and as a community.
