New music giant The Great Escape left a mighty impression on us this year. As ever the festival laid on a supreme banquet of fresh, unadulterated musical might, giving us a glimpse of the sounds of tomorrow at various venues around Brighton.
More of the same is expected when the festival returns on May 19th - 21st, as Great Escape embarks on its 11th year of cutting-edge programming.
Just announced are the hugely anticipated pop duo Oh Wonder, re-emerging indie pop act Mystery Jets (listen to their brand new track above), 'atmosfolk' entity Saint Sister, and London troubadour Isaac Gracie. Shura, Mura Masa, Banfi, Dagny, Declan McKenna, Beach Baby, Trudy, Rukhsana Merrise, Dilly Dally, Kloe, Alina Orlova, Elle Exxe, Connor Youngblood, Owen Rabbit and Will Joseph Cook are amongst the other acts revealed.
