Known to his friends as 'Chazz', The young musician and lead singer of the cult synthpop band died shortly before the band were due to perform at Belgium's Pukkelpop Festival in August 2010.
Charles had talked about one day holding his own festival in his parents' back garden, which he said he would have named Chazzstock. Now family and friends have banded together to create the perfect festival just as Chazz himself would have seen fit.
The festival takes place in the picturesque grounds of Stanford Hall in Lutterworth, Leicestershire on the 9-10th June 2012. The Vaccines, The Horrors and Tribes have all been confirmed to perform over the weekend, alongside some hot new talent, with more special guests to be announced soon.
Chazzstock have also been inviting unsigned bands to put themselves forward to play at the festival, to encourage and support young and upcoming talent. All proceeds from the festival will go towards The Prince’s Trust, a youth charity that helps change young lives.
Chazzstock, Stanford Hall, Leicestershire, 9th - 10th June 2012.
