The Last Laugh: The best comedy events on Skiddle | September 2024

The summer is all but done, and whilst the weather hasn't been too great, it's still been a wild one. But, September marks Autumn being on its way, and whilst the temperature drops, why not warm up and cheer up by getting packed into a room and giggling away at some of the UK's finest comedians? Good Ship Comedy feat. Sophie Duker

When: Friday 13th December 2024

Where: The Birds in London

Goodship Comedy is sailing out east for the first time bringing some of the finest comedians to Leytonstone, with this night being the wickedly good Sophie Duker. Sophie is a comedian and writer whose favourite things include breaking hearts, taking names, and telling jokes with the confidence of a cis straight middle-class white man.

Her Edinburgh Fringe Show, Venus, saw her nominated for the Best Newcomer award and gained critical, catapulting her to a sold-out two-week run at the Soho Theatre. Since then, Sophie has sold out her second tour, became a Taskmaster champion and appeared on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Mock the Week, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order and Live at the Apollo next month! The CCC with Dan Nightingale - September 24'

When: Saturday 14th September 2024

Where: St Marys Creative Space in Chester

The Comedians Club Chester is one of the best new comedy clubs in the North West. Laughter pours out of the incredible converted church that is St Mary's Creative Space for one Saturday every month and the gigs are hosted by one half of the Have A Word Podcast, Dan Nightingale. 

This time around, Dan will be joined by the Mancunian comedy powerhouse Justin Moorhouse; the up-and-coming comedic force that is Dan Tiernan; and the effortlessly hilarious Peter Brush. It's going to be a side-splitter in Chester, grab your tickets now!

Hassan Phills: Toronto Man on Tour || Creatures Comedy Club
