Well, we don't like the sound of that, and in our opinion, nothing gets you out of a slump like a good old laugh. Skiddle more than has you covered on this front. Fresh from his sold-out, critically-acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe run and becoming the most-viewed British comedian of all time on TikTok, world-famous prankster and Lee Nelson creator Simon Brodkin is back with an outrageous new stand-up show.
In ‘Screwed Up’ Simon rips into celebrity culture, social media, the police, Putin, Prince Andrew and Jesus. Nothing is off limits in this hilarious show, including his own mental health, his family, his five arrests and how he once found himself at an underground sex party.
You may recognise Simon from some of his outlandishly funny stunts, most famously when he threw cash at then Fifa President Sepp Blatter following the corruption scandal, and if you loved that, well you'll be in for a treat here.

Multi-award nominee and the official face of ITV Hub and uSwitch, Lateef Lovejoy brings his new work-in-progress show to Woolwich Works.
In his new hour of stand-up, Lovejoy expresses his unique comedic voice with cultural anecdotes, tales of his international adventures, social commentary, his contemporary take on popular culture and some random encounters that you can't make up!
This one is not to be missed, as he will be performing this show in much bigger venues when it's all worked out, and you can get the chance to say you saw it before all your pals. Get those tickets!

The Comedians Club Chester is the best new comedy club in the North West. Coming out of the incredible converted church that is St Marys Creative Space, and hosted by one half of the Have A Word Podcast, Dan Nightingale; this night is filled with some of the finest acts from the UK Circuit, this regular night is set to become one of the very best about.
In this edition of the night, Dan will be joined by the acclaimed, award-winning Scottish stand-up comedian, Mark Nelson; ITV Stand Up Hero and the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year winner, Julian Dean; and the ever-excellent award-winning writer and comedian, Katie Mulgrewmar.
This one is set to split many a side in Chester, and we can't wait to be down there with you.

Bringing his big-screen persona and BAFTA-nominated glee, Guz Khan is touring the country with his brand-new stand-up show - Guz Khan Live. Where he will be channelling the lived experience of his life in comedy into a show of seismic hilarity.
Joining the TV comedy icon, and hosting the night's proceedings, will be none other than Kane Brown, a household name on the Uk comedy circuit whose uniting style and brutally honest observations are an asset to any show.
The vast majority of this tour has sold-out and Northampton is one of the few shows remaining with tickets left, so don't even think about it grab those tickets and get yourself down, you wont wanna miss out.

Fresh from Live at The Apollo, Mock The Week, and most recently her iconic appearance on The Big Fat Quiz of the Year, Best Newcomer nominee Maisie Adam is back with her new show ‘Buzzed’. Rammed with witty observations, high-octane energy and some right good jokes. This high-energy show promises to be better than whatever else you had planned.
The five-star reviews keep on rolling in for this one, and Maisie's destined for all the biggest stages, so this may be one of the few chances you have left to see her in these more intimate spaces. Just get the tickets, and worry about how you'll be fixing the split sides later.

What's Funny? Dean Coughlin WIP

Fresh off of the wild success in 2022 of the podcast he co-hosts, Mild High Club, Dean Coughlin is bringing a work-in-progress show to Phase One in Liverpool this February, where, as he puts it, he'll be trying to find out what's funny and what isn't.
Alongside Dean on stage will be 'Two of his mates', and with the group of comics he hangs with, you can all but guarantee whoever joins will have you in an uproar of Laughter.
Dean's laidback comedic style is brilliant to watch as he casually breaks down audience members and makes searing cuts into the society that surrounds him, you've just got to go and see him.

Widely known for his continual stint on Mock the Week, and most notably his gravely voice, Andy Parsons will be touring venues around the country for work-in-progress shows leading up to his upcoming tour.
To date Andy has done six sell-out national tours and released four DVDs – Britain’s Got Idiots, Gruntled, Slacktivist and Live And Unleashed – But Naturally Cautious, as well as releasing a podcast Slacktivist Action Group, recorded monthly at the Soho Theatre. He has also appeared on Question Time, The Daily Politics, This Week and Newsnight, and writes columns for The Independent.
The award-winning comedian is no stranger to the stage, and that only means one thing, this show is going to be outrageously good. Make sure to secure those tickets before the inevitable sell-out!

Since being nominated for best newcomer at the 2018 Edinburgh Comedy Awards, Sarah Keyworth's comedy career has only been on an upward trajectory. With appearances on Live at the Apollo, Mock The Week, and 8 Out of 10 Cats, they have been well and truly a delight on stage, leaving many an audience member in need of a tissue.
Now, performing their incredible new show, Lost Boy, which received widespread plaudits during its Edinburgh Fringe run, Keyworth is set to headline The Leadmill. Searing indictments on her relationships, ludicrously funny observations on the difference between male and female masturbation, and much more, this show is not one to miss.

There are very few people around the country who haven't heard of Hot Water Comedy Club by now. The scouse comedy mecca, most notably hosted by legendary comic Paul Smith, puts on weekly nights on a Thursday where four of the biggest names in the game come down for a night filled with barrels and barrels of laughs.
This night is one of particular note. Performing will be the scouse icon, and one-half of the Have a Word podcast, Adam Rowe; One of Manchester's most sought-after comedians, Mick Ferry; and the uproariously funny Phil Chapman have already been announced, with one more still to come.
A night with just these three would be enough to sell us a ticket, but with one more on the cards, this one is bound to go down as one of the best nights at Hot Water in recent memory. Just drop everything and get the tickets. You won't regret it.

Rotunda Comedy Club - Friday Night Show - Barry Dodds

The weekly Comedy cabaret at Glasgows Rotunda Comedy club is a thing of legend in the city's comedy scene, regularly welcoming some of the best up-and-coming names in the biz, from the story-tellers to the crowd-workers to the downright absurd, to ply their trade and leave many a Glasweigina in stitches.
Three comedians usually hold this stage, but as of now, only one has been announced, but don't fear, this solitary comedian is none other than midlands icon, Barry Dodds. Fresh off a tour supporting Jason Manford and the undisputed Best MC in the Midlands, having won the award a staggering five times, Barry is a seasoned pro whos comedic talent is recognised country wide.
Barry alone should sell this for you, but with two more comedians on the way, this night is bound to be one of incredulous comedic fun, and we cant wait for you to be there!
