Laugh in the Park - Glasgow's Southside Comedy Festival
When: Saturday 13th July 2024
Where: Queens Park Arena in Glasgow
Laugh in the Park, Glasgow Southside's annual comedy festival, returns for its fourth year on Saturday, July 13th, 2024 at the Queens Park Arena, returning to the aptly monikered 'The Bandstand', for a beautiful outdoor event featuring a lineup of 10 of the best performers in Scottish stand-up, promising three hours of award-winning, side-splitting comedy (plus intervals).
Announced recently, the festival will host the likes of Craig Hill, Susie McCabe, Viv Gee, Gary Faulds, Gary Little, James Gardner, Laura Quinn Goh, Mikey Motton, Rory M Spence, Paddy Linton, with the brilliant Billy Kirkwood overseeing proceedings. House of Stand Up Presents Paul McCaffrey & Friends
When: Thursday 18th July 2024
Where: Coulsdon Club in Coulsdon
Paul McCaffrey is one of the funniest blokes about, no-nonsense, full of mental stories, and inherently a Londoner; Paul has completed two sell-out tours of the UK with Sean Lock on his Keep It Light tour in 2017, and more recently toured with Kevin Bridges on his record-breaking Brand New tour in 2018; as well as two solo tours of his own, Suburban Legend in 2018, and Lemon in 2020/21.
Paul is also the co-host of the smash hit podcast What’s Upset You Now? with fellow comedian Seann Walsh. Basically, he is seasoned at enticing some laughs out of anyone and everyone, with backing from some of the best to ever do it; so grab your tickets now and see what all the fuss is about.

CLOSEUP COMEDY at Hockley Social Club w/ Jeff Innocent

Where: Hockley Social Club in Birmingham
One of Birmingham's biggest monthly comedy nights, Closeup Comedy, is back again this month, bringing four of the best stand-ups in the country to the city, with scrumptious street food courtesy of Digbeth Dining Club and amazing drinks alongside the giggles.
This month, the riotously funny London geezer Jeff Innocent headlines, with the wonderfully witty Louise Young and the scintillatingly silly Scot, Connor Burns, in tow. And of course, resident MC and host co-host of the devious Dead Man Talking podcast, Freddy Quinn returns too.
