Whilst we are well into July, and everyone's focus is on festivals (particularly after Glastonbury) we wanted to take a step back from the live music world and enter the world of comedy. Up and down the country, seasoned pros, and hilarious newcomers are taking the stage to test the funny bones of punters to their extremes. All with tickets available in Skiddle, these are the very best in the coming weeks and months; basically, if you want to go see some comedy, it has to be one of these.
We've got huge comedy variety shows set in a castle no less; multi-comedian shows where you can spend a whole night seeing 3 or 4 of the very best in the scene; comedy in a converted church in Chester, hosted by one of the Norths comedic icons, Dan Nightingale; anda whole host of the best best touring comics. Basically, there are so many awesome UK comedy nights with tickets on Skiddle, and we've done all the work for you.

The Comedians Club Chester is one of the best new comedy clubs in the North West. Laughter pours out of the incredible converted church that is St Mary's Creative Space for one Saturday every month and the gigs are hosted by one half of the Have A Word Podcast, Dan Nightingale.
This time, Dan will be joined by the hilarious and hairy Matt Reed; the scouse comedy queen, Kay Nicholson; and the seasoned off-beat Manc comedian Phil Ellis. It's going to be a cracker in Chester, grab your tickets now!

CLOSEUP COMEDY is returning once again to Hockley Social Club to bring a night of glorious giggling, sensational scran (courtesy of Digbeth Dining Club) and some of the biggets names in the biz.
This edition of Closeup is absolutely stacked! With the electrically entertaining, Helen Bauer; the seasoned funnyman with the best beard in the game, Mick Ferry; the rising online Welsh sensation, Morgan Rees; and Resident MC, Freddy Quinne. It's going to be a belter at Hockley Social Club.

Bringing the World Premier of the first comedy show ever performed entirely by a horse to Creatures Comedy Festival, Elf Lyons is one of the most wonderfully wacky and creative comics on the planet, with none of her shows ever remotely resembling the next.
With plenty of horsing around and where there be no reigning it in, this show by Elf is one for the lovers of more conceptual comedy, and we can bet it best to go in blind. Grab tickets below!

Tom Stade: Risky Business Tour
