Rob Auton: The Eyes Open and Shut Show

When: Tuesday 4th March 2025

Where: The Leadmill in Sheffield

Join Rob Auton at Sheffield’s legendary Leadmill for a night of uniquely dry and hilariously whimsical comedy. The Eyes Open and Shut Show is a show about eyes when they are open and eyes when they are shut. With this show, Rob wanted to explore what he could do to himself and others with language when his eyes were open and shut. After writing ten shows on specific themes, he wanted to think about what makes him open his eyes and what makes him shut them. Typically absurdist of Rob, and a must-see show.

Miles Jupp: On I Bang

When: Wednesday 29th January 2025

Where: Old Fire Station in Carlisle

Miles Jupp, one of Britain’s finest comedians, brings his new show, On I Bang, to Carlisle’s Old Fire Station. Unfortunately, Miles recently suffered a brain seizure. This led to the discovery of a tumour the size of a cherry tomato, and a rather pressing need to undergo major neurosurgery. Obviously, one doesn’t wish to make a big deal of it, but the experience has left him with a story to tell and a few things that he’d like to share with the room. So that’s exactly what he’s doing in his new show On I Bang – a tale about surprise, fear, luck, love and qualified medical practitioners.
