The Last Shadow Puppets new album is finished and set for 2016

The Last Shadow Puppets have finished work on their second album and will release it in 2016, says the band's drummer and producer James Ford.

In an interview with Chilean publication Rock and Pop, James said: This year, I've just done a Last Shadow Puppets record, which is the guy from Arctic Monkeys and Miles." (listen to audio from that here)

It will be the follow up to their debut album The Age Of Understatement and reaffirm the link up between Kane and Turner that's been rumoured for some time.
